8. Shava Asana - 

( Corpse Posture)

Hey guys here is the another one of the easiest asana in the world or we can say that the easiest asana in whole of the Yoga History. This asana is the simplest asana which is done by every person of any age group and one of the main asana as this asana makes our body relaxed and makes the mind fresh. This asana makes our every organ of the body very relaxed. This is done only by lying on the floor lying on your back.


The Sanskrit word shava means corpse hence this is the Corpse. The shava-asana is also known as themrta-asana which means lying on the floor without taking any stress and starin. Then only you can feel your relaxment and feel very fresh. This asana is done after all the asanas so that u can make your body relaxed.

Instructions..... 

1.Lie flat on your back with your legs together but not touching, and your arms close to the body with the palms facing up.

2.Keep your eyes gently closed with the facial muscles relaxed and breath deeply and slowly through the nostrils.

3.Starting at the top of the head and working your way down to the feet, bring your attention to each part of your body, consciously relaxing it before proceeding on to the next.

4.Remain in the shava-asana for between 3 and 5 minutes or longer. If you become sleepy while in the shava-asana begin to breath a bit faster and deeper. And feel relaxment as much as u can but please there is no condition of sleep. Gud Luck Take Care and

7. Shalabha Asana - 

( Locust Posture)

This asana is the another easy asana which is done by every one of any field. This asana makes your body fit and healthy and makes your back fit and also this asana helps in loosing the back fat and makes the back in correct shape. During this asana one can make sure that this asana is done very carefully because this asana makes the contact of neck also if the movement make wrong then this can harm the neck very badly.

The Sanskrit word Shalabha means locust or grasshopper.There is a variation of this posture called theviparita-shalabha-asana. The Sanskrit word viparita means"reverse." This is an advanced variation not covered here.Lie on the ground with the face downwards and both hands under the chest touching the ground with the palms of the hands and both legs raised in the air ten inches high. This is called the "Shalabha posture."

Instruction  .... how to do this asana

1. Lie on the stomach with the head turned to one side and the arms alongside the body with palms facing upward.

2.Turn the head and place your chin on the floor. Slide your hands under your thighs, with the palms pressed gently against the top of your thighs.

3.Inhale slowly and then raise the head, chest, and legs off the floor as high as possible. Tilt your head as far back as possible. Keep your feet, knees, and thighs pressed together.

4.Remain in the posture while holding the breath. You can support your legs by pressing the hands upward against your thighs

5.Hold the posture for as long as you can hold the inhaled breath then slowly return the legs, chest, and head to the floor while exhaling.

6.Remove your hands from under your thighs and place the arms alongside your body. Turn your head to the side and rest.

6. Padma - Asana

( Lotus Posture)

This is the simplest asana In whole Yoga History. This asana is only done by sitting posture. No extra work is to be done in this asana. In this asana there is no need to make different type of posture in this simply sitting posture is there. This asana makes the person relax and helps to maintain the health and fitness. Even the aged people can also done this asana without any hesitation and without any eternal help. This asana control the feelings of the person either the positive feelings either negative.

Padmasana or Lotus pose is a cross-legged yoga posture which helps in doing proper meditation by calming the mind and remove various physical stress and strain. A regular practice of this posture aids in overall blossoming of the practitioner, just like a lotus; and hence the name Padmasana or it can be said as LOTUS POSTURE.where as

LOTUS POSTURE

Instructions______ to do    पद्मा  आसन  (Padma asana)

  1. Sit on the floor or on a mat with legs stretched out in front of you..
  2. Bend the right knee and place it on the left thigh. Make sure that the sole of the feet point upward and the heel is close to the abdomen.
  3. Now, repeat the same step with the other leg.
  4. With both the legs crossed and feet placed on opposite thighs, place your hands on the knees in mudra position.
  5. Keep the head straight and spine erect.
  6. Hold and continue with gentle long breaths in and out.

5. Naga - Asana - 

(Cobra Posture)

This is the another type of Entertaining Asana which can be performed by the people of busy schedule as well as non busy schedule.This asan is performed in well manner so that our body remains constant and there is no danger of disease. Basically this asan is very easy but it can be done under concentration then we will attain some of the benefits of this asana.

The Sanskrit word naga means snake or serpent. The naga-asana is also known as the bhujanga-asana. The Sanskrit word bhujanga, which also means snake, is derived from the root bhuj which means to bend or curve. 

Instructions ______ to do COBRA POSTURE

Lie on the floor staright. Let your turn over at the stomach whereas your hands are near chest and you are in staright position.

Now let your body in rest position means your body should be relaxed. Firstly inhale and exhale for 2-3 times.

Inhale slowly through the nostrils, press down on the hands and lift the torso from the waist up off the floor, arching the spine backwards and straightening the arms. Keep the hips on the floor.

Tilt the head as far back as possible and hold the posture for the duration of the inhaled breath. It should be done very carefully because the little bit movement can make lot of problem.

Exhale and reverse the process to return to position.

4. Bala Asana - 

(The Child Pose)

Bala Asana (The Child Posture)

Balasana can be performed as a counter pose between theAsanas and is basically a resting pose that is ideal for beginners. Bala is a word of Sanskrit origin which refers to child. It is a forward bend pose requiring one to surrender to gravity while performing the pose and is basically a very gentle pose. This Asana helps in releasing the tension of the back and the neck, and stretches the ankles, thighs and hips. However, individuals suffering from back and knee pain and diarrhea are advised to avoid this posture





Instruction.....

to do this asan

1.Start with table pose.

2.Maintaining the position of the hands, 
exhale while you sit back on your heels and rest your upper body on the thighs.

3.Keep your forehead on the floor.

4.Place your arms next to you with hands adjacent to feet and palms facing up.

5.Exhale when you release the hips to the heels and feel your spine lengthening.

6.Remain in this pose for up to 2 minutes.

7.Release the pose by inhaling when pressing the hands into the floor to lift yourself to seated position.

THIS ASANAS HELP IN GIVING U THE PERFECT BODY SHAPE AND U CAN GET PROPER FITNESS..

3. Baddha Konasan - 

(Restrained Asan)

This is a simple asan as it is done again by every person of any field. Simplest Pose ever in a YOGA ASAN field.


The name comes from the Sanskrit words baddha (बद्ध, baddha) meaning "bound" 

Kona (कोण, koṇa) meaning "angle" or "split",and
Asana(आसन, Āsana) meaning "posture" or"seat".
From sitting position with both the legs outstretched forward, hands by the sides, palms resting on the ground, fingers together pointing forward, the legs are hinged at the knees so the soles of the feet meet. The legs are grasped at the ankles and folded more until the heels reach the perineum. The knees remain on the ground, the body erect and the gaze in front. The asana is held before coming back to the starting position. The thighs are stretched with care.
Tottally This Asan is Like a BUTTERFLY pose
Be slow and careful while doing the asana as in almost all the yoga asanas, as being quick is not what is called for in any yogic Asanas.*.
Baddha Konasana should be avoided by ladies if menstruating or should be performed under guidance of a yoga expert during those days.

2. Surya Namaskar Asan - 

( Sun Salutation pose)

Sun Salutation Pose, also known as Salute to the Sunand Surya Namaskar in this asan there are 12 poses which help improve strength and flexibility of the muscles and spinal column. This pose also warms up the body and tones the abdominal muscles. So take your yoga training from given below instruction and learn how to perform the Yoga Sun Salutation Pose with the help of our easy steps.
This asan can be done by every person of every field either of busy shedule or non busy.

INSTRUCTION                                                             how to do Surya Namaskar Asan - 




STEP 1: Stand on your Yoga matsand start with the Yoga Mountain Pose. Bring your palms together in prayer position. Exhale.

STEP 2: As you inhale, raise your arms overhead, keeping your palms together.

STEP 3: Exhale and then bend forward until your hands touch your feet.

STEP 4:As you inhale, step the right leg back, arch back and lift your chin.

STEP 5: Exhaling, step the left leg back into plank position.Keep your spine and legs in a straight line and support your weight on hands and feet.

STEP 6: Retaining the breath, lower your knees, your chest and then your forehead, keeping your hips up and toes curled under.

STEP 7: Inhaling, stretch forward and bend back. Keep your arms straight.

STEP 8: Exhaling, curl your toes under, press down into your heels, and lift your hips.

STEP 9: As you inhale, bring your right leg forward, with the top of the foot stretched out flat on the floor, and lift your chin.

STEP 10: Exhale and then bend forward until your hands touch your feet.

STEP 11: Inhaling, stretch your arms forward and over yourhead. Slowly bend backward from the waist.

STEP 12: Exhaling, gently come back to Tadasana.

Types Of YOGA ASANAS

As we know the Yoga is the important medium to gain up our energy and make our health good and acheive great fitness. So u can make your body fit and healthy through various types of yoga asanas. Every asans has its special type of posture and pose and has different types of benifit through which one can make her or his body perfect and dieases free. There are different types pf yoga asan which are easily done by every person of any field and can attain good health and fitness.

NOW let us talk about some types of YOGA asanas....

1. Akarna Dhanur Asan 
(The shooting - bow Pose)

This asan is little bit difficult so do this on your own risk.
Both the words Akarna and Dhanur has its special meaning. Like Akarna means EAR and the 'a' means forward.
Dhanur means bow-shaped, curved or bent. Literally we could translate this as the near-the-ear bow posture but because of the fleaxiblity of the posture we'll call it the shooting bow posture.

Insruction how to do this asan....

1. Sit on the floor with the legs together and extended straight out in front. Keep the back straight, shoulders level and head straight. Place the hands, palms down, flat on top of the thighs then inhale deeply.
2. Exhale and reach down and loop the forefinger of the right hand around the big toe of the right foot and grasp the left foot with the left hand.
3. Inhale and pull the right foot back placing the big toe next to the right ear. Straighten the back as much s possible and hold the posture for the duration of the inhale breath.
4. Exhale and return to the seated position of step #1 then repeat the posture on the opposite side.


Durations/Repetitions ::

The dhanur-asan either held for the duration of the inhaled or between one and three minutes while breathing gently through the nostrils. Repeat it two or three times.
